I am Harry Houdini. I was born on March 24, 1874, in Budapest, Hungary. My real name was Erich Weisz. I was a professional magician and escape artist who worked with handcuffs, straitjackets, and nailed crates. I was also a movie actor and an author. I died of appendicitis on October 31, 1926, in Detroit, Michigan.
